33Final Fantasy XIII walkthrough how to upgrade your weapons guide!
To get the last trophy, Treasure Hunter, you must have in your inventory all the weapons and accessories at least once. My previous video was about the accessories and how to get them all. As for the weapons let me explain a little bit of the rules!
Every character must have 8 weapons and one of them must be tier 3.
Let`s take Lightning for example, she must have at least one of her 8 weapons in tier 3 ( or Omega Weapon what is called ).
Gladius=tier 1 - Helter Skelter=tier 2 - Omega Weapon=tier 3
The other 7 weapons must be in tier 2, they don`t need to be upgraded further for the trophy to count.
With that said here are some easy lessons in upgrade!
What you need to do to upgrade for lvl1 to lvl2
Always use FIRST 36 Sturdy Bones or 36 Vibrant Oozes or
24 Otherwordly Bones or 24 Transparent Ooze.
That way you get an x3 bonus upgrade! Then use Paricle Accelerators and finally the correct Catalyst to transform the weapon to tier 2!
Example: Gladius - 36 Sturdy Bones - 2 particle Accelerators - Catalyst =
Helter-Skelter
When a weapon is tier 1 with EXP 0/300 use 2 Particle Accelerators
When a weapon is tier 1 with EXP 0/420 use 2 Particle Accelerators
When a weapon is tier 1 with EXP 0/800 use 3 Particle Accelerators
When a weapon is tier 1 with EXP 0/1200 use 4 Particle Accelerators
When a weapon is tier 1 with EXP 0/1500 use 5 Particle Accelerators *
When a weapon is tier 1 with EXP 0/2000 use 1 Ultracompact Reactor **
* Exept Snow`s weapons
** Only Vanille`s weapon has this
Once you understand this concept i believe it`s pretty easy to upgrade every weapon! You will need a lot of GIL and a lot of Catalysts mostly, Perovskite, Uraninite, Adamantite.
When you make a succesfull upgrade it is good to save the game just in case you screw something over and have to restart again.
When you finally complete all the upgrades you must travel to Oerba and talk to Bhakti to unlock the trophy!
