Someone recently tried to see how far they could get through the game using only Auto-battle and items without paradigm shifting, changing the paradigm deck (or even the default paradigm), shrouds, or going out of his way to grind (he just fought most of the battles on the path). If I recall correctly he made an exception for Shiva, but here he just gave up.

Curious, I wanted to see if it was even possible with as much crystarium and upgrades as is possible at this section, so I took my convenient Hecatoncheir save with max crystarium and lots of components and gil and tried to kill him using only X. Surprisingly, it is possible. Sadly, it took 2:52. It might be improvable.
