Finishing Up the Clint Barton Campaign in Marvel's Avengers
It was a bit of a rough night in Marvel's Avengers. Not because of the missions, which I was enjoying the story that was being told. Instead, we finished up a couple of missions and in the end, came face to face with The Maestro.
And it was a tough battle. We died the first time, but the second time, I played with a little more strategy and right when I had whittled him town to the last health bar, we got knocked out of the arena and glitched into a mountain with no way to get out. So we had to retry a checkpoint and of course, start the entire fight all over again. I did defeat him, but thanks Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix for allowing that to happen.
When stuff like that happens, it makes it hard to continue to enjoy the game. It is compounded by the fact that I really am enjoying the story that they have to tell. The end cut scene is pretty amazing when you see the solution that was tried to end the war and how it failed so miserably.
