Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Walkthrough Part 18: The Great Advance
Units gained:
- Ike: Automatically. One of the most powerful units in the game. Just beware that he'll be stuck at level 20 for a while before he finally promotes through a story event.
- Titania: Automatically. This time she is actually usuable and a good unit, though she tends to neglect her speed.
- Oscar: Automatically. A good unit. Nothing more, nothing less.
- Boyd: Automatically. He has some starting problems due to his low speed, but once he gets over that he becomes a powerful unit.
- Gatrie: Automatically. A powerful unit, and he actually gets a lot of speed level ups which makes him the best General for me in this game.
- Shinon: Automatically. The best Sniper in this game and one of the most powerful units.
- Rolf: Automatically. He's a very good unit, but the problem here is that you get Shinon at the same time who's just that much better than him this time. Sorry, Rolf.
- Mist: Automatically. Average at best. Thankfully she doesn't have to be present for a major fight like she did in Path of Radiance.
- Rhys: Automatically. A good unit. The problem here is that the game forces Micaiah down your throat and you don't need more than one Light Mage.
- Mia: Automatically. A very good unit. Either she, Edward or another Swordmaster that appears later on should be your choice when choosing a Swordmaster. The third one only if the other two didn't turn out well. I already settled for Edward this time.
- Soren: Automatically. He and Tormod are the best mages this time. As already mentioned, Tormod reappears completely underleveled near the end of the game so Soren it is.
