EndeavourOS is mainly a terminal-centric distro with some GUI tools out of the box, like the Welcome app, reflector-auto, and a kernel tool to make your jumpstart easier.
Are you that distro-hopper who always has been curious to try Archlinux, but you think you aren’t confident enough to do the install process and deal with bleeding-edge releases after installation? Or are you already familiar with Archlinux, but you’re looking for an express install with a system close to your beloved distro?
They offer various eight Desktop Environments and one Window Manager, all of which are shipped with a modest selection of apps and packages to start your journey.
Amongst those are Firefox, a text editor called Nano, Yay, a terminal-based wrapper for the AUR to search and install popular apps like Spotify, browsers such as Vivaldi or Brave, and many more apps and packages.
It also ships with the Nvidia installer that automatically installs the right Nvidia driver for you after enabling it and our reflector-auto to help you search for the fastest download mirror near to you.
No matter which category you’re in, they can offer you the solution to make your jumpstart in the flexible and wonderful world that an Arch-based distro can offer.

The offline option installs a fully themed Xfce and the online option provides you with the choice of seven Desktop Environments Xfce, Mate, LXQt, LXDE, Cinnamon, Plasma, Gnome, Budgie, window manager Openbox and tiling window managers i3-WM, BSPWM, Sway, Qtile and Worm.
We already checked the box for the necessary base install in the online installer menu, all you have to do is check the box of your desired DE.

Fixes:
Fixed the archlinux-keyring issue for offline installs
Locale issue with Calamares version 3.2.60, solved by shipping downgraded Calamares version 3.2.59
Now the installation process ranks EndeavourOS mirrors for online installs in addition to the arch mirrors.
Artemis original new features
Archlinux-keyring and endeavouros-keyring get updated before starting the online installation to avoid keyring issues.

The offline Xfce install received a huge clean-up with the help of community member Keybreak
budgie-control-center has been added to the EndeavourOS repo for a smoother and native Budgie experience.
Xfce4 and i3 install will not autostart firewall-applet by default anymore.
Added support for downgrading EndeavourOS packages (eos-downgrade).
Installation option for EndeavourOS ARM
Just a small warning: Sway doesn’t run well in several Virtual machines, it will be completely running without issues on real hardware.
