First time trying RaceRoom Racing Experience multiplayer
Wayne's #1 on the leaderboard for BMW M3 Sport Evolution with a 2:09.977 and I'm still #3 with the 2:10.405 - we both average 2:10.
I was going to work on my time a bit today, but Wayne was on and so we decided to try some multiplayer. We couldn't find a Bathurst server that had our Sport Evo, but we found one that had the BMW M3 Group A - we weren't sure what to expect with that car, or what to expect with Multiplayer Alpha. Turns out the Gr.A is about 5 or 6 seconds slower than the Sport Evo - either that or we were just driving 5 or 6 seconds slower for some reason lol. The multiplayer was good, but for now the big complaint is the lack of a way to create your own server. Often times you won't find the car or track combination you're really in the mood for. Also, there's no option for custom setups in multiplayer at this time. I would like to see them add those 2 features as well as a way to send/receive setups while on the server. I think you can chat with T like in LFS multiplayer - but I forgot to try it since I was on teamspeak anyways. I forgot to enable a better HUD for racing, like a lap display, etc. Other than that, it was a very good experience. Also I should note that Wayne is in Australia with bad internet and I'm in USA - and yet still the car wasn't disappearing or glitching in and out, so that's a good sign.
