On FirstSixty, we play a video game that we have never played before. We play for 60 minutes, recording our immediate reactions to the game. It's not a review - we're just having fun (or perhaps not) and joking around.
This week is pretty big, I will admit. The Metal Gear franchise has been one of nothing but fond memories, great action, and intense moments/dialogue. We were introduced to the series originally by our grandfather, who had bought and played the original NES Metal Gear games back in the day, and had loved the franchise from the get-go. It's amazing where it's come today, with all of the Solid games; and now, this one. Today, we're entering the high-tech, futuristic, private military-run world of "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" on the PlayStation 3, developed by Platinum Games, produced by Kojima Productions and published by Konami. This game is definitely rated M for Mature, and is also available for the Xbox 360 (a first for the series, which is normally known for its Sony exclusivity).
