When sound is coming from one side of your headset or speakers then you can fix it by adjusting the balance levels. Speakers and headsets typically have a left and right channel for audio. Sometimes these levels can be different, resulting in one side being quieter than the other, or not work at all.

You can fix the sound only coming from one side of headset issue through the sound control panel. The balance is found in the level tab within the device properties. This fix will also work when one side of the headset is louder than the other.

In some cases a loose connection can be causing the sound to only come from one side of a headset or speaker. Fixing the connection or replacing the cable can solve the issue and have both sides working correctly.
