Fix the Referenced Account is Currently Locked Out and May Not Be Logged on to in Windows 10/11
This error typically occurs when an account is locked due to too many failed login attempts, incorrect group policy settings, or time synchronization issues. To fix this, you can either wait for the lockout period to expire (if set by group policy) or log in as an administrator and reset the account. Open the "Local Security Policy" (via secpol.msc), navigate to Account Policies , Account Lockout Policy, and adjust the lockout duration and threshold. You can also reset the password using another administrator account.
