Steps to fix Unity Error Failed to Load Window Layout, This can happen if layout contains custom windows and there are compile errors in the project

• Go to this location: C:\Users\Test\AppData\Roaming\Unity\Editor-5.x\Preferences\Layouts\default
• Or type in appdata in run box and click on ok and then go to Roaming\Unity\Editor-5.x\Preferences\Layouts\default
• Open Default.wlt with notepad
• Select all and Copy everything from here
• Open project with which you are receiving this error
• Open Library folder
• Open CurrentLayout-default.dwlt with notepad
• Delete everything here and paste everything copied from Default.wlt
• Save the file
• Close all the windows
• Quit unity hub, now unity hub once again then launch your project
