Shift is a puzzle game, the graphics during the entire game are monochromatic, there are only two colours: black and white.
The special feature of this game is the possibility of ‘shifting’ - turning the game environment and levels around, turning floors into ceilings and obstacles into paths as you try to find your way to the next room.
This is quite simple at first, but becomes more and more challenging with each level.
The original version was created by Antony Lavelle, the conversion for the C64 (and Atari 8bit) comes from Haplo - Shift comes with 36 levels + a secret level.

In [ Flashback ] we briefly introduce you to older games: older does not mean 3-4 years old, but can go into the decades.
However, we also take a look at new releases for the classic systems from time to time, simply to see how actively these devices are still supported today.
No complete Let's Plays / Gameplays are shown here, but per episode (maybe even two) we look at a game to simply see “how it used to be”.
