Flipped Farters?! Part #11: Extremely Safe Pit Digging (ONI: Spaced Out!)
5In this VOD of my Flatulent-only ONI: Spaced Out run, we continue to renovate the second asteroid and slowly move most of our dupes over in an effort to get all of the infrastructure up to speed. We mostly do lots of small jobs but we do get an Oil Well online that runs off of the excess bathroom waste, and we managed to dig a very large pit for all of our Natural Gas to build up in while we get everything else done. We also manage to retrieve a Sporechid seed which is a surprise tool that we'll save for later. Cycles 201-222 are in this video.
The overall aim of the run is to get to the late game without the performance issues that have sort of crippled previous runs. So we're going to keep a low dupe count (probably around 10 per asteroid max long term), minimal critters, and do our best to tidy up the materials on our various asteroids. Hopefully we'll end up making some interesting designs without losing all of our frames!
