367It's Critical Role's new D&D book Call of the Netherdeep! We're BACK in the studio for an RPG let's play! This is not a drill. Today Liv is DMing for Maddie, Wheels and Meehan as they take on the first chapter of the latest D&D adventure book produced by prolific Dungeon Master Matt Mercer and based in the world of Critical Role, Exandria!
Marigold the Eladrin rogue, Rory the Leonin monk and Eslyn (EZ-LYN) the Triton cleric set out to prove their stuff in the coastal town of Jigow during its Festival of Merit.
As they progress into the festival they take on trials and meet some fellow adventurers! Ayo, Galsariad, Dermot, Irvan (who is referred to only as Shaggy) and Maggie (who's name isn't actually mentioned...) Will they be able to prove they are just as capable as their rivals? Or will things come crashing down around them in this one-shot? Let's find out!
