The vortex are definitely the most fun weapon in the game. The 2 obvious encounters are the invincible shields and speed to avoid getting hit. I've actually seen some players running spectre vortex in clan games recently because it tends to be a safer option behind cover. And you can surprise enemies with a lot of damage .The aphids definitely need a buff, but the raven's jump ability allows you to jump up (when its safe) and arc the projectiles even better. I think the raven performed better in this second game, but the first game was more intense. Enjoy
