--READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!--

Okay, so, here is an actual video to announce this little project I just started up; think of this as a sort of "demo" or "proof of concept" I suppose.

Now, I should probably go ahead and say that the music is NOT actually modded into the game, at least not as of now; the music that you hear here is just some clever editing on my part. As much as I would like to actually, y'know, mod these in, I don't actually know how or have the means to do so, so unless there is a way for me to do it myself and I'm just not aware of it, I'm pretty much depending on someone with that knowledge to come in and actually put these into the game; I might also try and get in contact with Alysson to see if he'd like these arrangements enough to actually make an update to the game itself (basically making these official), but I'll wait until I'm a bit farther in since this is still in a bit of a "demo" state, like I said before.

When it comes to the overall style that I'm going for when it comes to these arrangements, I wanted to try and use both X1 and X2 samples (not X3's though since that game already uses X1 and X2 samples to begin with, though I dunno if I'd like to do anything in the style of X3 for this project either since I really don't like it lol) while mixing and matching them as much as I possibly can so that these don't feel like an X1 style track or an X2 style one: they just feel like "Megaman X" if that makes any sense. I'm also using the years of experience I had working with this style to good use to try and replicate the SNES MMX style as much as possible, so I'm working within limitations but still allowing myself some wiggle room when it comes to the instrumentation, and I'll also try and do a couple other cool things that are completely outside of the style as a way to enhance the tracks further when necessary.

I'm also using a different program than AMK to make these this time around, specifically this one program that someone called undisbeliever made that's mainly for homebrew SNES games but can also be generally used for music as well: It's called the Terrific Audio Driver if anyone's curious (dunno if I can link this on Youtube so just look up the name if you want to know about it lol); main reason why is just cuz I wanted to get a bit of a break from using AMK all the time and try my hand on something new, and honestly this program is so much better than it that it's not even funny: not particularly on the feature side, but more so convenience really, it's really, really easy to use and get working and frankly I'll def try and use this more in the future haha

Btw, I also just kinda gave up on trying to ask others for help in both the transcriptions and the money for them, and I'll just try and do as much as I can by myself, while also using my own money if I have to; frankly I still don't know how well I'll even be able to deal with all of these considering there are quite a couple of tracks that'll be much harder to transcribe, but at this point I made my peace with the fact there's really no other way but to do this entirely by myself, so... yeah, again, I'll just have to try my damndest and see where that leads me; at least I still have the money option to lean on if things end up going south, so there's really no danger in this not getting fully done.

There's also the topic of the Let's Play videos I did of X8 Demake (, and if you're wondering, no I'll not be stopping these; I'll actually be releasing them alongside the individual uploads of all the music stuff I'll be making for this project, though they'll be spaced out randomly and won't really have a schedule, just, y'know, they'll be released when they get released basically.

Yeah, I think that's it for now; when it comes to the individual videos, I'll be releasing all of the arrangements in this video later, and will be spacing out the releases of all of these videos in general in a weekly manner; mainly for the algorithm, but also so I can get as much time as I need to get all the particularly hard transcriptions done and not feel burned out... might not be the best idea, but we'll see how that goes I guess... ah, and of course, if anyone of y'all can share this to as many people as possible that would be great too lol
