Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is a spin-off release of Forza Motorsport 6 exclusively available to Windows 10 PCs. The game itself is free to play, although it had paid downloadable content and a Premium Edition bundle release.

It was made available as an open beta on May 5, 2016 and was later released on September 7, 2016, but the Windows 10 Anniversary update (1607) is required to play.

Players accumulate medals through races to unlock the cars instead of earning in-game currency to buy them, although downloadable content pack cars are unlocked immediately with bought packs. As there is no in-game currency, cars can't be upgraded for enhanced performance.

The game doesn't include multiplayer and players can only race against AI-controlled drivatars.

The language of the game depends on the PC's main language, and may crash if running with either Chinese and Japanese selected.

I'm happy that this game was Free2Play, but I'm also sad, that this game was removed from the Microsoft Store because of license issue.
I hope that Microsoft will also release a Forza game like this where the player can decide if they want to get the Free Edition (neither a demo nor a full game) or the Full Version. Maybe they can do it like Halo Infinite. Multiplayer is free, but you have to pay for the offline content.
