306🌟Embark on a captivating journey with us as we bring to life the iconic Frankenstein bust through the art of 3D printing. This intricate project is a labor of love, intended to grace the shelves of our shop (link provided below) with its eerie beauty.
In our quest for perfection, we chose to employ the Anycubic DLP Craftsman resin. However, our initial steps were met with challenges as we grappled with incorrect settings. Despite a setback resulting in a failed print, we refused to be deterred.
With determination and perseverance, we recalibrated our approach. Miraculously, one print survived, clinging tenaciously to the build plate. It was a testament to the resilience of our vision and the potential of the medium.
Our journey did not end with the successful print. Understanding the importance of meticulous post-processing, we meticulously cleaned the resin vat to eliminate any remnants that could compromise the integrity of our creation.
Frankenstein emerged from the cleansing process, but our work was far from over. We subjected her to a thorough regimen of purification, immersing her first in 90% IPA, then guiding her through a wash and cure cycle with simple green, before concluding with a final rinse in IPA.
After the arduous process of curing, Frankenstein stood before us, a testament to our dedication and passion. Yet, we acknowledge that our quest for perfection is ongoing. There is still much to be done before he is ready to grace the shelves of our shop.
