This is the thirtieth mission of the main campaign of Freespace 2. The Epsilon Pegasi node has been collapsed, and the Vega node will soon follow, and with it our only way to escape the system. Our mission is to cover escaping civilian convoys and warships until Command authorizes departure. This is expected to take fifteen minutes, after which the GTD Nereid, laden with meson warheads, will enter the node and detonate in order to collapse the subspace wormhole.

This is a Red Alert mission and appended to the last video, however I got shot down on the way out and got the Alpha 1 death ending. This is the other ending, in which the player character escapes alive.
