About the game:
Frostpunk is developed and published by 11 bit studios and was initially released in April 2018 for Windows PC. It was also later made available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2019, and macOS in February 2021. In the game, players take on the role of a leader, known simply as "the Captain", in an alternate year 1886, in which they must build and maintain a city following a worldwide volcanic disaster and ensuing post-apocalyptic winter. You must manage resources, make choices on how to survive, and explore the area outside your city for survivors, resources, or other useful items. The base game features several scenarios, each with their own story and varying challenges. Several paid DLC have also been released for the game and a follow-up Frostpunk 2 is in development.
