In this mini devlog, I discuss the free-form upgrade system of my game "Defenders of Cardom", which is a Tower Defense game with deck-builder roguelike/roguelite elements! The design behind the upgrade/enchantment system is very interesting, and unlike other TD games like Bloons Tower Defense (BTD6) or Roblox Tower Defense Simulator.


Defenders of Cardom is a tower defense deck-builder game, inspired by games like Slay the Spire, Clash Royale, and Bloons TD6.
