Starting a new playlist series after being inspired by some games with surprising tracks recently. Soundtrack from C64 game music legend Jeroen Tel goes way beyond here - meaning it would work as a track in a Wipeout XL-style game, although they do hype up the Olympics themed game pretty well with this stylish intro. One of the only SNES games to use Argonaut's Super FX2 chip, and why it is sometimes called Winter Gold FX similar to Stunt Race FX. For a SNES game the graphics are quite impressive. If you like this leave a comment and I will try to upload the whole soundtrack!
00:00 Downhill
Release date: 1996 (very late in SNES release cycle)
Composer: Jeroen Tel
