Gamers are worried that GOG's new Refund Policy will be heavily abused!
0In a frankly shocking move GOG has announced that they will be implementing a new refund policy. This policy is such that even if you've downloaded and played a game bought from their store then you can get a refund within 30 days of the game's purchase. And that there isn't a limit to how many times you can use this (albeit they have said they reserve the right to refuse refunds).
Now many gamers and fans of CDPR/GOG have expressed worry over this new policy as it appears to be very easily abused due to the fact that the GOG storefront is DRM free and all games that are one the store must lack DRM, so gamers are worried that people will buy and download a game and then refund it as GOG has no way of blocking access to it.
Only time will tell if the system is heavily abused and if it is chances are that CDPR will return to their old policy.
