In this video I'll be making a very simple map in three parts:
- Tile Mode = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbsJ4TVARes
- Top Mode = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ8gjcjIhdk
- Helper Mode

It will not be the same map every time, because I didn't feel the need to save these maps and Top and Helper Mode might be easier to understand in a clean area. I will not be using any console commands during this guide


Before you start you have to set up a Map.ini file. You should create a new map in Gangland/Custom and give it the name of your map. For example we use Mymap. Now copy the .ini file from Custom/Example/map.ini to Custom/Mymap. Now open it with notepad and pick the settings you want (vegas, poor, docks or italy for accessoires_enter choice and ground_enter choice). Everything else can stay the same.

Now be sure to select the .ini when you start making a map, else you'll be screwed. Click New Map and then select your ini from Custom/Mymap/map.ini

And then you're ready to build! The annotations should help you with that! Good luck!
