1About This Game:Gangstar: Miami Vindication is an open-world action-adventure video game published by Gameloft and developed by at least one of its subsidiaries; it is the 5th game in the Gangstar series and was released for Android and iOS on September 23, 2010 at a price of $6.99. The HD version of the game was designed for iPads and released on November 4, 2010, it was also priced at $6.99. A Mac version was released on September 15, 2011. It is unknown what the price of the Android version was. Versions for button-operated phones were released also released in 2010, along with a much lower-end variant for touchscreen Java phones.Johnny Gainesville, a redneck drug lieutenant and crooked prison guard from the Florida Panhandle in Starke, must rescue his little brother – Joey Gainesville, age 15 – from a street gang of sadistic kidnappers. The kidnappers have taken Joey because of the way Johnny has treated their gang members at the Raiford State Prison. Johnny’s criminal bosses say they will help him get Joey back, but only if he does a series of jobs for them along the way. Will the Miami battles to rescue Joey allow Johnny to take over enough territory to declare himself the King of Miami? Gameplay
Two-dimensional (2D) version
The game is presented from a top-down perspective with the player being able to traverse the map both on foot and via various vehicles. The storyline is progressed through by completing dozens of main story missions along with optional side-missions involving street races and assassinations. Numerous weapons such as handguns, shotguns, and grenades can be used to damage non-player characters including the police and in-mission enemies. The police force attempts to arrest the player if they are seen committing crimes such as attacking pedestrians and stealing occupied vehicles; the level of force they use is represented by a line of stars on the HUD; the more that are lighted, the more cops will be around (the mini-map shows their positions using flashing blue-and-red dots). At 4 or 5 stars cops will attempt to kill the player instead. The wanted level can be lowered by staying out of cops' line of sight or bribing them (after the option is unlocked). More areas are unlocked as the storyline progresses.

Absolute
The directional button and 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 correspond to the the eight directions the player can move; the button corresponding to the front of the vehicle accelerates, while the opposite one decelerates and reverses, while the rest of the buttons steer
D-pad OK, 5: Shoot (only the SMG is available)
*: Throw grenade below (helicopter)
#: Cycle through radio stations and muting
0: Exit / get off vehicle
