Pulsate is probably one of the hardest Hard Demons I have ever beaten, along with A New Kind of Sound. It has some good parts, I think the first 34% are awesome but the level kind of falls apart after, mainly due to the wave sections in the drop. The first two are pretty hard already, especially if you go for the coins (that key is so much harder to get than it looks), and the 65-68% is no doubt the hardest part of the level, as well as the most frustrating part. Let's not forget the wave at 75%, which may be more chill than the other 3, but is still pretty janky due to the moving structures which actually killed me either once or twice.
So due to a few wave parts, this ended up being a miserable experience: getting past 68% was insanely stressful and got me killed in stupid ways a good amount of times, including a ridiculous death at 93% which, unsurprisingly, really pissed me off... Moral of the story, if you're on 60hz, please do not play this, it may look fun at first but it is not worth your time and frustration. The level might be more balanced on higher refresh rates though, so feel free to try that
