The two tips are

1: upload your content at 1440. This can be achieved by saving your edited video at 1440 instead of 1080. Unless you get a lot of views your 1080 video will use a very efficient compression resulting in a poor quality YouTube video.

2: The first tip won’t work unless you turn on full quality uploads in the YouTube app
