Welcome to Let's Play Saturday, where I play a variety of video games and talk about their history, development, gameplay, and fandoms.

Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage took a lot out of me the last time I played it, and I think I only made it about halfway through the whole game. I can't even imagine how frustrated I'd be without save states and other modern conveniences to help me through this one, as I don't have the time to "git gud" like when I was a teenager. Time to fire up the Hyperkin RetroN 5, steel myself, and jump back into what has proven to be one of the most viciously difficult games I've ever played.
