The Headman

With the list of conspirators in hand, Lady Masako and Jin Sakai are ready to start tracking down the people responsible for the brutal murders of her children and grandchildren. Their first suspect is Sadao, a former member of Clan Adachi and the headman of Kuta Farmstead, appointed by Lady Masako's husband. He fled the farmstead the night of the murders, most likely after hearing of Lady Masako's survival.

The Sensei and the Student

Jin goes to Sensei Ishikawa's dojo to pursue Tomoe. Ishikawa had heard of Mongol archers training at the tower near Castle Lookout Hot Spring

Hammer and Forge

Yuna and her brother, Taka, have gone to Komatsu Forge ahead of Jin Sakai, but when Jin arrives, he sees Yuna in combat with Mongol soldiers, while Taka and the other villagers have taken refuge inside the forge. When the Mongols have been defeated, Jin asks for Taka's help in creating a tool that can be used to scale the walls of Castle Kaneda.

Ogawa Dojo

Ogawa Dojo is a dojo that was taken over by the Mongols by means of a trebuchet on the southern side, and a seige weapon on the eastern entrance. Once it was overtaken, the Mongols set up lookout towers and various yurts throughout the dojo. Additionally, they had dead peasants bodies staked outside the entrances, and cages along the western corner with deceased prisoners. They also had a black powder cache set up near the middle of the northern wall.
