Part 18 of a video walkthrough for Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, for the Nintendo DS. In this part, Detective Jowd, Yomiel, Missile and Sissel go back in time ten years. This is when Yomiel was killed by a meteorite, while having a standoff with Detective Jowd in the park. Young Lynne was being held hostage by Yomiel during this standoff.

Sissle, Missile and Yomiel work together to prevent Yomiel's death. They cause the meteorite fragment to deflect away from Yomiel, so Yomiel doesn't get killed. Then, they save Yomiel's life when Detective Jowd shoots him. Finally, they manage to prevent Lynne from being crushed by a large statue.

This results in a situation where no one dies, although Yomiel and Detective Jowd are both injured. Young Lynne finds a cat, and Yomiel explains that the cat is Sissel. He explains the entire backstory of Yomiel and Sissel the Cat.

After this, Ray the Lamp (from the first and third chapters) appears and explains his backstory. He is Old Missile, from an alternate timeline in which Sissel refused to help save people's lives. Missile apologizes for the ways he manipulated Sissel during the tutorial sections, but it was all for the purposes of having things work out well.

We get a glimpse of the new future that Sissel and his friends have created. It seems that everyone will live happily ever after.
