This model was inspired by The Iowa-class battleship, one of the most iconic warships ever built. Being the largest of the U.S. battleships ever commissioned, the Iowa-class was only ever a class of four ships. These ships were the BB-61 Iowa "The Big Stick", BB-62 New Jersey "Black Dragon", BB-63 Missouri "Mighty Mo", and BB-64 Wisconsin "Wisky".
Primarily known for serving in WWII, The USS Iowa severed in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters. With its nine massive 16inch guns and amazing speed, this engineering marvel had a profound impact in determining the outcome of each battle.
