A game play video of デカリス in its Time Attack Mode. Dekaris is a combination of the words "dekai," the Japanese word for something gigantic, and Tetris. Players control the game with a giant joystick with the control buttons located at the top of the stick. The Tetris game pieces are also gigantic, slightly changing the way the player needs to manage the game field. Otherwise, the rules remain the same as general Tetris - drop the blocks and arrange them to horizontally line across the playfield.
