GO FAST - Can an Astrophysicist Beat a Hardcore Nuzlocke Using Only Space Pokemon? Attempt 4 #1
3To celebrate defending my PhD thesis I'm doing a special hardcore Nuzlocke run. Originally streamed on twitch.tv/aphanaphis (VODs: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHj3...).
Challenge Rules: We can only use "space" Pokemon. "Space" = sun or moon stone evolutions, plus Starmie, Lunatone, Solrock, and Elgyem lines. Each TM can only be used on 1 mon at a time.
Hardcore Nuzlocke rules:
1: Only capture the first Pokemon in each area (including gifts, 1 gift per area and it replaces a wild encounter).
2: Faint = Dead.
3: Nicknames are required.
4: Dupes clause - no repeats in the same evolution line.
5: No items during Battle
6: Set Mode
7: No Over-leveling the next Gym or E4, level cap = max level in that team.
Hall of Fame Rule: Pokemon evolution lines in my Nuzlocke Hall of Fame are banned if they have the same terminal evolution (Hall of Fame is any Pokemon that has beaten an Elite 4 in a previous Nuzlocke run on the channel). This means we can use Eevee, but not he same evolution, and we can use Duskull in a game where it can become Dusknoir, but we can't use it in a game where it ends at Dusclops.
