Lost Soul Aside is a single-player action-adventure role-playing game.
The player controls the protagonist Kaser, who is aided by his companion Arena—a character capable of transforming into weapons and other elements that are useful in battles and throughout the journey. The combat system features a sword, greatsword, poleblade, and scythe as weapons. It is supplemented by Arena's power, which grants abilities such as Arena Claws, Crystal Blast, Frost Blast, Mountain Break, and Purgatory Dance.
