4We are going below and beyond in Surviving Mars. In this Mars survival gameplay video, we start thinking about what we want to put below the surface. Some of the things we need are the shuttle hub, drones (with an RC Commander), Explorer and a Transporter.
As far as making water in the Martian, Mark Watney used hydrazine (N2H4) from rocket fuel and separated Nitrogen from Hydrogen by burning in an Oxygen enriched HAB. An efficient Martian would extract water from the soil or melting ice deposits (if found). However, doing science is much more impressive.
