Going Through Channel Changes | Channel Updates
Today... I'm about the screw up my place in the YouTube algorithm once again. After discovering a little bit more about how the algorithm works, I have decided to completely change the way I make content in hopes of making it easier to grow my channel. While gaming videos will still be here, there will be a lot more editing put into them, and I will also be posting a lot more music, art, animation, and video game devlogs and reviews. I'm excited for all of these changes, and I hope all you guys will find them fun as well!
For those wondering where all of the Prodigy Math Game videos have gone, well... to be honest they've kind of been thrown out the window. While I will always respect Prodigy for keeping the heart of my channel beating all these years, I don't think they are the way to support continual growth for my channel. For now, and maybe indefinitely, I will not be posting anymore until I discover how they are truly affecting my channel.
However, I have done one extra thing to help try and speed up this discovery process! I have created a secondary channel where I can post similar content and see how the YouTube algorithm likes it without the effects of Prodigy getting in the way. Go subscribe to it of you want to help and support that experiment!

What up my friends?! It's me Mr. Squid Whiskers! I'm a sort of variety channel, but I mainly post video game walkthroughs and let's plays as well as some of the music that I compose (I also like to do animations and story time videos, but I don't get to those very often). In addition to my channel, I am also working on my own personal video game, so please bear with me since my recording schedule can get pretty wacky. Almost all of the commentary and the general content on my videos are family friendly, but depending on the games that I play or the content that I cover, that can change. However, despite the fact that I keep my content available for all audiences, my videos are intended for audiences of thirteen or older, mostly to compensate for YouTube's weird systems. If I do make videos that are specifically intended for audiences younger than thirteen, such as Prodigy videos, they will be marked as such. Thank you for watching, and squid cat out!
