After last time's refined duelling in Nidhogg, Aardvark and Tuna are smashing each other with axes (and without finesse) in Golden Axe.

Golden Axe wasn't known for its versus mode, but we're trying it out anyway.

We apologise for the awful frame rate on the menus. It does improve as soon as we get into the fighting.

Aardvark vs. Tuna is an ongoing series in which we throw away any pretence of co-operation and try to prove who is the best gamer. It's now 15-12 to Aardvark, after Tuna was the best at being eaten by giant worms in Nidhogg.

Golden Axe was published in 1989 by Sega.
