In this video, I share a personal experience of how Google Maps destroyed my life by removing all of my location reviews. As an avid user of Google Maps, I had spent years leaving detailed reviews of various locations and sharing my experiences and insights with the wider community. These reviews had become a source of pride for me, as I felt like I was contributing something meaningful to the platform.
However, one day I woke up to find that all of my reviews had been removed without any explanation or warning. I was devastated and confused and reached out to Google for answers. But despite my best efforts, I was unable to get any clear response or resolution.
As I reflect on this experience, I discuss the impact that this event had on my life and mental health. I also explore the larger implications of relying on a platform like Google Maps, and the potential risks and drawbacks of putting so much trust in a single company.
Through my story, I hope to shed light on some of the challenges and issues that can arise when we place too much emphasis on the digital realm, and the importance of being mindful and critical of the technology we use every day.
