Gotthardbahn Alpine Classic | Train Simulator 2019
I've spent a long time in the Gotthard region (is it a region? Let's say yes for the sake of conversation) thanks to my Transport Fever series in the area. What I've not done is driven a train through the Alps. So let's do that on the new Gotthardbahn Alpine Classic route for Train Simulator from Rivet Games. The team were splendid enough to fire a key in my direction, and I'm not one to say no to such things. Unless I'm busy, then I'll say no. Politely, but firmly.
Obvious disclosure mode on: I work for Dovetail Games on a part time basis learning what their players want. As a result you should assume that the 10/10 score I give the game at the end of this video is completely biased. Hmm. Hold on. I don't actually give the game a score at all, because I don't do reviews. However, those who like a conspiracy see them everywhere, so it's better to paint a picture that agrees with their world view and just get it out of the way. Okay? Good. Go about your business. I'll be over here wrapped in my mind-control blanket.

(*) - Today's secret: I genuinely have no idea whether I was powering the train or not in today's downhill cruise, which is fun. I'm guessing I wasn't. As easy way to check would have been to swing by the rear power unit and listen to see if it was active. But I didn't know that, so we'll never know for sure.
