Here is a quick highlight from my Pokémon Emerald Hardcore Nuzlocke where I only use Grass-type Pokémon! The full video where I got this clip from can be found here:

What makes this a "Hardcore" Nuzlocke run?
-You can only catch the first Pokémon you encounter in each area.
-You have to give nicknames to further the emotional bond.
-If one of your Pokémon faints... it's gone forever.
-I am playing on "set" mode.
-No items are allowed in battle (the only exception is held items).
-Our Pokémon's levels need to be the same level or lower than the highest leveled Pokémon in each gym and the Elite Four’s Champion. For example: Tate and Liza's Pokémon are level 42, so our team cannot be any higher than level 42 prior to starting that battle!
