OK trust me I really really wanted to give this game a chance. I got sick last night so wasnt up for much but I have tried it out and man this game is even worse than I thought it was gonna be. Holy crap... They could use this game as a bed time story to put you to sleep. Random notes... Take with a grain of salt as im not sure how much time im gonna invest in this game...

-You can shin akuma which is cool since its one of the first things I was gonna fiddle with again. Its fun they brought this back.. However there doesnt seem to be a way to cancel your recovery off IAD with the recovery bug from before. So although I did try fiddling with some of the shin akuma loops i talked about, even if you manage to do it, since you cant cancel iad recovery(or so it seems at this point)its moot. Neutral wise its there though and thats pretty cool and i tried to show some examples I guess where I suppose you could use it to end a string instead of going for a big blue mix up.. but realistically remember youd have to double jump since you cant cancel dash recovery from teh air anymore...

- The wall almost appears to work on a time system. If youve been comboing the dude for awhile corner or not, the wall gets ready to break more and more. Hell even if you choose to end the combo early to get some set up stuff, this still counts as you pressuring the dude so even if you open up the guy you.. cant.. do a full combo... not sure whos bright idea this was. This whole wall thing is a complete mess right now. I tried to show that its possible to of course get the dude to slide down and fall down however this doesnt appear to allow anything new...at least..that I can see for now.. but it is there so that would make me think it has to be for something? Also ive been able to get a positive bonus durning matchs even with out breaking the wall.


God I mean im so bored even typing about the game. What a train wreck. Cant even bring myself to try to do stuff. I tried to show off examples liek i said before when it first came out since high low stuff in some way is discouraged i suppose it is possible with RC to show if you froze time to go for a low into something that then allows other things to work.. hell you could even rc low then jump in combo etc.. blah blah...

Man this game is just so dull its amazing... chipp is cool and like i said I feel he is progressive enough to teh point they should probably have a ex chipp in teh game. But as it is right now, not sure if im gonna play the beta anymore, or even buy the game period. I have seen that air blocking does have stun again which is nice since I dunno what the hell they were thinking earlier with that mess.. so I suppose on one persective the game probably plays better from a fundamental perspective than something like DBFZ, but again god damn is this game dull as hell. I know people think i say it to brag, but i only do combos and break games cuz I can. Id much rather the game be fun to play. A game being simple doesnt bother me. But again this game is just so dull I dont know if I care about this game in any shape or form right now.


Anyway dont care about doing a bunch of electrocute combos its all brain dead and boring right now.. ill try to reevalute later but no promises.. maybe ill try again tommorow
