SO... I haven't uploaded anything in ages. There are a number of reasons notexcuses for that, mainly being that what free time I could muster became devoted to other interests, media or otherwise, and that recording had become a literal pain and very clunky. I had centralized recording for a few months now but didn't really record anything since I have been combing through my media backlog alongside class and work. All of that stuff is still there, but I really do enjoy uploading and expected to slowly swing around to it again, even if not in immediate full force.

Long story short, I've been getting into Gundam for the past 2 1/2 years and was anticipating this game for ages and then it released on consoles in February and it consumed my gaming for awhile (and still does, though I force it to do so at a lesser degree). And hey, it has a replay feature so it seems like something to post here until I get around to some things I've wanted to complete for ages. Also I need to empty my locked replays since you can only keep so many...

A few notes about this game: a lot of the music tracks are no-go with YouTube, but I actually record these silent and add music in editing (despite a BGM patch for the game getting released tomorrow-ish) so I should be able to avoid that for the most part. Also, though it runs in 720p @ 60fps and I record with the highest possible settings, 30+ renders and comparisons to other videos later and I have to say that it seems it's really hard to make this game look good (see: better than "good") on YouTube. I suggest watching these in 720p at least to make it tolerable, though 480p maybe work for you as well. The quality is a work in progress, but I'm still holding on to the original replays for awhile to possibly review with others unless they are just funny moment things.

As for THIS match, it's the first replay I felt was save-worthy and coincidentally was a loss. It was the first "intense" match I had with the game, though of course it's easy to see now how things could've gone our way. It's obvious I still wasn't too accustomed to the suit or the game yet, just grinding it out. Still, at the time I thought we were pretty close. Just a lot of yolo melee and me not covering my partner enough and vernier/overheat everywhere. Very choppy, but we all have to start somewhere right?
