57From Raw Thrills, the team that developed HydroThunder (Midway) for arcade and Dreamcast, comes the spiritual successor to HydroThunder, H2Overdrive.
From what can be told, everything that you ever loved about HydroThunder has made it into H2Overdrive, plus a ton of new tricks, making H2Overdrive a proper sequel to HydroThunder.
H2Overdrive is currently set to for release in a video game arcade near you (if you can still find an arcade). I suggest look around to see if there is a Gillians or Dave & Busters in your area, as these are likely the only two arcade chains left in North America large enough to actually get brand new games into their arcades.
If you cannot find an arcade near you, then you are not completely shit out of luck. Rumor has it (the same source that initially leaked H2Overdrive in the first place, sometime last year) that Raw Thrills is busy working on porting H2Overdrive to Xbox LIVE Arcade for a fall/winter 2009 release. So HydroThunder fans of olde, if you cannot get theeself to an arcade this summer, then get thee an Xbox 360 by the fall, and ye shall be covered.
