H3VR Modding Tutorial (R2ModMan 2021) - Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades
2,287**This video assumes that you have a clean install of H3VR - if you have previous mods installed, it is recommended to remove them. You are able to delete the H3VR directory without losing save data (stored elsewhere) but you would need to redownload the game afterwards**
To get started with modding H3VR, head over to Thunderstore and download R2ModMan - https://thunderstore.io/package/ebkr/r2modman/
**If you are using a Quest and Virtual Desktop to play** You may have better luck launching the game via Steam with an argument. Under the Help section in R2MM there is a section at the bottom that lists an argument to append to H3VR from within Steam that will automatically launch the mod manager, which seems to play better with Virtual Desktop.
As always, be aware that modding your game can have unintended side effects. P L E A S E do not complain to the developer of H3VR if something goes wrong. One of the most common issues is running too many mods at once (especially the Modul mods since they are large) as they all eat up additional memory.
