Hailuo AI | Minimax 2.0 Update | Another step forward...
8Minimax released their 2.0 model this week for video generation. Minimax / Hailuo is the platform I have used the most but it's been limited to 6 second video clips and 720p resolution, now the model offers 10 second clips at a good value and the improved model yields fewer unwanted generations. It's pretty incredible what it is capable of...these clips are all at the new 768p resolution and then rendered at 1080p in DaVinci Resolve for simplicity. The new model will also yield 6 second clips at 1080p resolution but I haven't played with that yet as the cost is a little higher, but still reasonable. I will put out another version of this video at 60fps and 4K to illustrate the potential. At this point, Kling 2.1 and this new Hailuo / Minimax 2.0 model are the most useful and affordable tools to learn with. The Google Veo model seems to be aimed at professional use only and not creative purposes at this point in time.
