0Tom Bancroft, the producer of Pencils vs Pixels, has 25 years of experience in the animation industry, most of which was for Walt Disney Feature Animation where he was an animator for 11 years and contributed to 10 animated feature films including "Beauty and the Beast," "The Lion King," "Aladdin," "Mulan" and "Brother Bear." He has illustrated over 50 children's books, designed websites and so much more. Today, let’s learn about the documentary, Pencils vs. Pixels which releases on digital platforms on November 7, 2023.
Pencils vs. Pixels is a celebration of the unique magic of 2D hand-drawn animation and an exploration of how the Disney Renaissance of the late 1980s and early 1990s led to an animation boom that was quickly upended by the computer animation revolution that followed.
