🕹WELCOME TO THE GAMING NOISEMAKERS 👾

I’m playing HappyFunland VR on PSVR2 with Sense controllers.
In this video I start the game, it came out today and cost £19.99.
The gameplay is you are in a haunted theme park and you’re hired help by the maintenance man. We have to explore the abandoned remains and uncover the dark secrets of Mort Grisly, the creator of the theme park, the Home of Randy Rodent and a cult around him. It’s all going on!
The game looks ok, if you’ve played Green Hell VR thats the standard of graphical fidelity.
It has a nice look and art style i really like, and the park itself is one that is believable. It really does feel like you’re in a theme park.
The world is well lived in and majority of things in the world you can interact with or hit/break.
The game on starting is lacking some basic options, like smooth turning and sound options. You can turn blinders on or off, and you can change the degree of which you turn but thats it for now.
Movement is solid and so is the gripping and handling of things.
Unfortunately the AI is bad, the robots just run at you and never really felt a threat, but the jumpscares are solid and got me.
So far im middling on my opinions of this. Going by the anti hype this game had i went in with low expectations which i think helped.
It’s certainly in need to a tweak and a patch but there is a solid game here that has a good VR theme park to walk around and explore.
After playing 1 hour the game said ive completed 23%, so going by that it could be a 4hr ish game.
Leave off buying it today, wait for a patch before you buy it but when the issues are sorted i think it’s worth the entry fee. But if you’re not up for janky AI id say wait for sale, buy it then.
