Black Metal, as every fine art of relevance, stops at nothing: This track is basically a musical setting of Paul Verlaine's poem by the same title, which is part of his collection 'Poèmes saturniens' (1866).
The cover artwork depicts a painting by Paul Cézanne by the title 'Bouquet au dahlia jaune' (1872/73).
Dans l’ensemble, c’est bien sûr très romantique. Tout comme le métal noir.
French project name '(H)aprefleur' is 'bitter flower' in English.
Haprefleur is a one-man band project by Lotus Pâle.
