Harry Potter Magic Awakened [Deck Profile] - Control Deck
--DECK PROFILE IN THE DESCRIPTION--
Hello again everyone!
HP Magic Awakened is finally out and I wanted to thank all my new subscribers with a new deck profile video :)
------------------------------------------------------
Cards used: Niffler, Fire Crackers, Accio, Fire Crab, Acromantula Venom, Occamy,
Support: Lotty, Cassandra, Daniel
Echo: Newt Scamander
------------------------------------------------------
This one aims to keep the opponent at a nice distance with cards like Fire Crab, Wizard Crackers and Cassandra. These deal heavy damage when near them so your opponent will avoid getting closer.
To take advantage of this situation, we'll play Occamy, Niffler and Lotty behind the "damage wall" mentioned above. Occamy will deal spot damage from time to time, regardless of distance, and Niffler and Lotty will charge our wand faster so we can keep up the pressure (Centaur is also there to push more damage, but might be subject to change in the future).
The opponent might try to get around this strategy by using spells with long reach or even things like Protego Totalum. To counter that, we'll be using Incendio which is great spot damage and also counters the opponent's Cassandra (which is very popular right now).
To further take advantage of our "damage wall", we'll also include Accio. Not only does it pull your opponent closer to our heavy damage dealers, and disrupts some strategies they might be using like Fumos or Protego Totalum, but it also makes them spend their "step" cards much quicker and render them more vulnerable.
Acromantula Venom is a personal choice of mine. It creates an area that deals damage over time to anyone walking over it and also slows them down, very much appreciated.
Newt Scamander is our echo and it randomly gives out creature cards with only 1 cost, what's not to love here?
