Frank Taylor is the most unusual private detective not only in his native Los Angeles, but also, perhaps, in the whole world. With even a minimum of evidence on hand, Frank solves the most high-profile crimes in the City of Angels.

He can link together events that, at first glance, have nothing in common, such as, for example, the suicide of a penniless Vietnam veteran and the disappearance of a socialite. The police are jealous of Frank Taylor's success, but at the same time they think that this guy is "with a hello."

Frank Taylor's clients never pay him, moreover, any trick can be expected from them. And here's another thing... Frank's first meeting with clients usually takes place in the morgue... since he usually takes up the investigation of a new case, having received a "signal" from the other world. Murder victims turn to Frank in the hope that with his help they will be able to achieve just retribution and punish the villains.

Ghosts are special clients, it is impossible to have a heart-to-heart conversation with them, and their requests cannot be ignored. Sometimes they give Frank just one key to solving a crime - some phrase, object or vision. And then Frank has to act on his own, rely on his own intuition and the support of friends.

Frank has three real friends, and ironically, they are all his exes: ex-partner from the police - Marcus, ex-wife - Jess, she is the mother of their missing son, as well as an ex-criminal, whom Frank once handcuffed himself, and then released - Dante.

Dante has been reformed for a long time and is ready, if necessary, to go through all nine circles of hell with Frank. Sometimes the dead return, sometimes the secrets taken to the grave can be revealed.
