Thanks to Splattercat for his bombast. I wouldn't have found the game otherwise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXYKDXgsS0M&pp=ygURc3BsYXR0ZXJjYXRnYW1pbmc%3D

Get it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1280930/Astral_Ascent/

This game is NOT blind playable nor could it easily be made to be.

+ Partially rebindable keys (not the thumbsticks)
+ Fully rebindable KB+M
+ Outline option right out of the gate. It may only be a pixel thick but that's thick enough for me.
+ No subtitle options but default subtitles are VERY readable with an opaque background
+ Dialogue similarly readable with a nice, bold font
+ Easily visible telegraphed attacks
+ Sound cues for attacks but...
- EXTREMELY bright menu. Photosensitivity warning.
- Glossery/some tutorial messages impossible for me to see
- Sound cues are EXTREMELY quiet and difficult to discern in a fight. See Hades for examples of how to do it.
- Navigation in "base" is confusing
* Option on startup for white-on-black menu for less eye-sear.
* Options to remove damage numbers as well as make them bigger (for those who like seeing big numbers but have bad eyes.)
* Background opacity options (add a layer between background and foreground and give the player the option to make said layer tranparent or opaque. Personally, I would use 75% opacity.)
* Highlight options (different colors for friendlies/enemies/etc. Bullets being highlighted, etc. See Dead Cells for examples.)
* Option to make the glossery/tutorial messages bigger (icons and text.)
* Map in base. As is, VERY confusing to navigate.
* Option for sound cue volume specifically (enemy attacks and the like.)
